30447 ZAMIOCULCAS LANCEOLATA ARAC HP TGH PRICE: $ 8.00 "Aroid Palm" Very thick purpled petioles hold ranks of waxy succulent leaves on outarched thick succulent stems arising from a tuberous root. This elegant plant, now heavily marketed as the "ZZ Palm" is one of the few purely desert aroids. Beware that the leaflets typically shatter when shipped--just tuck them into a rooting mix and each will form a plantlet. We got our plant from Grigbys years ago under the name of Z. lanceolata. We think at this point that it might be the same as Z. zamiifolia.
